Hi, my friend! I'm from Brazil and I live in Marajo Island in Amazon Region. Marajo Island has diferent interesting beaches like Pesqueiro beach and barra vella beach. you should also see tipical dances such as lundum(from africa) and carimbó. there are so many diferent kinds of food like maniçoba, vatapá, frito do vaqueiro, açai,turu... and you can visit farmes and see bufaloes around the fields. you can also visit a place in Soure (city of the Marajo) where people works with ox-hide and these people makes caps, purses, shoes in diferent things . The most important cities in Marajo Island are Soure and Salvaterra these cities are closer. There's a good hotel in Salvaterra named Pousada dos Guarás. |

Brazil is a country. You can visit Rio de Janeiro and see The Statue, Sugar Loaf, Ipanema Beach and it's Bars, Botanical Gardens, the small towns in the Mountains around Rio and Belo Horizonte are really beautiful. You can also go to Ouro Preto, Petropolis, Iguaçu Falls and Isla Bonita. The Brazilian Countryside in Southern Minas, Sau Paulo, Ro de Janeiro and any further south is really beautiful. |
