A Latino (or Latina) is a person of Latin-American or Spanish-speaking descent, so if you fit into either of those categories you can consider yourself Latina.

As opposed to the Euro-Brazillians or the native indians who lived there before Europeans came with their slaves.?

Do you really need the label? If the definition of Latino is someone whose native country speaks Spanish, the answer is no because Portuguese is the Brazilian language. If the definition is someone who was born in latin America the answer is yes because Brazil is part of it. If the definition is about race, the answer is no, because 98% of Brazilians are mixed blood, so a black Brazilian will probably have European blood as well. The best definition is just Brazilian, and we are very proud of the mix of races in Brazil.
