For tourists I think Rio is the most suitable place, because the touristical infraestructure there is the best from Brazil and the most famous turistical spots from Brazil are there too. But as you have already been to Rio I suggest you to try some beach city from the Nothern region from Brazil, like Salvador.

My favourite beach here in Brazil is Porto Seguro, it is a city that stands on brazilian state Bahia. I like it because there are perfects night parties there, the beach is beautiful and there is a pub there named Axé Moi http://www.axemoi.com.br/index.php where there are shows on stage of boys and girls dancing AXÉ(popular brazilian song) and many other atractions the whole day. You will enjoy it. That city is not well known by american tourists, but deserves attention.

Moro em São Paulo, já fui no Rio de Janeiro, o Brazil é realmente Lindo. Te aconselho a vir para São Paulo, aqui também tem praias lindas, mulheres maravilhosas, também tem varios pontos turisticos, como o museu do ipiranga, o MASP, Museu de arte moderna, pinacoteca. Tem parques de diversão super legais como Playcenter e Hopi Hari, o que não falta aqui em São Paulo é coisa o que fazer, tendo dinheiro, você faz o que você quizer. Mas se for uma viagem economica temos metrô, transportes publicos que custam entre R$ 2,00 à R$ 3,00. Vem pra cá é super legal

I'm paulistano (The person that born in Sao Paulo) and I love this city...

You have many options to do here.

Diferents restaurants (japanese, italian, american, arabic, brazilian), beautiful museums, theaters and places (e.g. MASP, Ibirapuera's park, Paulista Avenue, University city - USP, Sé square, subways), differents parties and bars (that play electronic, funk, rock, sertanejo, MPB).

And I think, SP it's some different about other brazilian's state, cause we don't have both racism, there are differents people in SP (e.g. tourists, orientals, blacks and whites) and we don't have problems about this.

To work and make business is Sao Paulo cause it´s like Toquio, New York, London, etc. To check one of the best beaches I recommend Rio - anyway I don´t like there. And Santa Cantarina to visit Ocktoberfest.
