Its been almost 2 years since I've been to Brazil and I miss it soooo much, I simply fell in love with the country, the people, the culture and of course their music.
Now maybe you can recommend me sweet songs, hits,that I could find on the net?
I'll tell you a few samples of songs that I love and hopefully based on those you can recommend me others that resemble to their beat.

I heart Tribalistas!! Their songs "Passe em Casa" and "Carnavlia" are also really good ... but you probably knew that already :)
My other favorite Brazilian songs are "Beija Flor" by Timbalada and "Poetico Olodum" by Olodum (older but still really good).
As for newer songs ... if you like Axe music then you will like "Mulher Brasileira (Toda Boa)" by Psiricio (I can't spell their name though!!) A lot of the songs on the cd "Axe Bahia 2008" are really good.
I also like the Ivete Sangalo song "Vem Meu Amor"

Have you already tried out the Pandora or Last.fm websites? Both can compile for you a playlist of similar artists or similar kinds of music. I think using that option will give you instantly a much larger set of suggestions than people here can do + you can hear all the suggestions and decide which new songs you really like.
