Did You Know That A Baggage Handler In The U.S Makes More Money Than A Police Officer In Brazil ?

I have a Brazilian friend who works as a baggage handler at JFK international airport and he told me that he makes more money than his uncle who works as a police officer in Goiania. This is why Brazil will never become a first world country.

There are facts in this case, (wage differences) but a faulty assumption. There are other reasons why Brasil is struggling in "placement" in this world. And, the dollar variation has pros/con depending upon who is trading and who is receiving. Brazil's economy is strengthening in some secotrs and the dollar is rather weak incomparison to the Real. So, I'm seeing a brighter future for Brazilians if the ongoing corruption and crime problems (in some areas) can be resolved.

It might be true, but ask this friend of yours how much he spends per month in the US and you'll realize that this "make more money" thing is just an illusion.

Angelo
so you have a brasilian friend...and hes ok with you insulting our country ? and a first world country like the USA, which im living in right now (NY) is one of the worst places ive been to. almost everyone i know wants to come back to their native country. F*** USA. your cops are pigs + racist. they get nothing done, even your own people are going against them.

who gave this person a computer....

You're right, I'm brazilian and know of this. But our country is fine, in carnival here stay full of foreign. The Brazil, has good things and bad, is normal. Your country is of first world, by this with if makes more money. But don't forget "nothing is stopped, all things change, the all time.".

no i didnt...why don you take ur money and pay them?
