Did anybody went to Brazil and did you like it?
Did anybody went to Brazil and did you like it? I am 20 and I want to go there, somere where there is beach near by. What was your experience like when you went there, and what are some good places by the beaches.
I am Brazilian, and live here also.... if you want you can email me, I will be glad to help, and Brazil is full of beautiful beaches not only in Rio as many know but also more to the northeast where Fortaleza is (it's wonderful there)
Allen
I've been there twice on business. If you want to go to the beach, you want to go to Rio, and hang out around Copacabana or Ipanema.

I have heard many wonderful things about Brazil and am planning my first trip to Rio for this fall. As another person has already said, there are actually several places in Brazil that are worth considering.
Although I have not used this particular travel agency (see link below), I have found that looking at their trips/packages has given me an indication of what is popular in Brazil re: travel locations. Of course, Rio is very popular. You'll definitely be able to find lots of information online as you prepare for a trip.
By the way, if you go to Rio, know that the beaches, boardwalks, flavas (poor areas) and city streets can be "unsafe" for a tourist traveling alone. You might want to do some research on this so that you can prepare youself. Most of the crime is petty theft. But, being prepared is still wise.
