Brazilians are very turned on to ethnicity, I think. I am Brazilian and going through school it was a major item that we studied. Brazil is much like the USA, it is a real melting pot of ethnic groups. In fact, Brazil may have even more melting than the USA. There are large colonies of Italians, Germans, Japanese, Portuguese, Indian (native), and African origin. Brazil was a major slave trade nation and I have heard it said that Brazil has more Blacks than any other country other than Nigeria. I am from an Anglo background, my grandparents from both parents came from England at the in the 1920's to seek there fortune... I am still looking.

1.The most of Brazilians don't know their ethnic,but the major ancestries among Brazilians are Portuguese,Italian,German and African.

The most part of brazilians have portuguese ancestry, and many os us have mixed blood with africans and native americans. In SÃ£o Paulo many people descend from italians, japanese, chinese, spanish, etc. In south of the country, there is a strong german, italian e polish herritage. My ancestrors are from north of Portugal. They came to Brazil at thirty decade of nineteeth century.

1-many people don`t really care about it.that`s because almost everybody here has mixed heritage,so it`s not a big deal and some people just ignore it. it`s really hard to find someone who is completely"pure".the mixture varies from region to region.in the south and south-east ,the majority of the population is of italian,german,spanish,japanese descent.in the northeast many people are of black descent.in the north,many people are of native indians descent.the portuguese descents are all around the country.i`m saying it in general,but of course there are many exceptions.2-yeah,i am brazilian ,from the north.and i`m of portuguese,black,french and native brazilian descent.maybe there`s some other ethnicities too,but i couldn`t tell you for sure.

pastor brazil is racially more mixed than the united states but they r not more ethnically mixed than the united states. the united states has at least 1 person from every country in the world. brazil mostly has italian german portuguese african japanese ethnicities.

First of all the country as a whole is basically made up of people from all corners of the globe and the people are quit mixed but can recite to you every last thing they have in side of them and makes thema unique brazilian.....they know there histories and are very proud to express them to people they arent ignorant they do have such a rich culture like not many other places in the world
