Alphaville is a nice neighbourhood that belongs to the great Sao Paulo. Alphaville was planned to be a great option for the ones who want to enjoy the good stuff Sao Paulo has, without the stress of living there.

About 25 miles from the city of Sao Paulo. Alphaville has approximately 12 condominium complexes (or more). They are basically fancy gated communities but somewhat surrounded by poverty ...it's near Osasco and some other favelas. They are safe and isolated from the busy Sao Paulo. Traffic is a nightmare especially during rush hour. They got some private schools, some expensive bar nightclubs and chain restaurants, and imported car dealerships. Do not rely on English... it might work with neighbors but not with the guards and the regular local business such as supermarket, gardeners and etc...

I agree with all comments. Just be aware that there is a lot of traffic between there and Sao Paulo. Not that it is an exception, Sao Paulo in general is lots of traffic spots.
