Finding someone in rio de janeiro, brazil?

this may sound crazy but i have been dating a girl from brazil for almost a year and we talk on the phone or internet every night. i have spent 2 weeks with her in aruba, and had planned to visit her in brazil in june or sept. well something strange has happened and i am really worried and concerned. i called her cell phone on saturday 2/7/09 and a strange female voice answered in the background i could hear loud noises but could not make out what they were. when i asked for laura my friend i could hear the women speaking portuguese to another person and the line stayed open for about 45 seconds before we were disconnected. ever since then (3 days) i have not been able to contact laura, her phone does not ring when i call and she has not been on-line, i am afraid something may have happened to her or she just doesn't wish to speak with me anymore (which i do not think is the case at all). the only information i have for her is her CPF # and cell phone # and of course her name. i had her address in brazil but i cannot open the file that i saved it in. does anyone know of how i can find out if she is ok? any help would be greatly appreciated as i am very worried at this point. thanks!!!
