*Arquipélago de Tinharé (a beautiful archipelago. great beaches, and good to those who like trecking and tropical atmosphere)
*Fernando de Noronha (Paradisic place like Galapagos)
*SOUTH ZONE in Rio de Janeiro and with a friend to guide you. Knowing a brazilian friend you won't have problems about safety here.
*Salvador (a lot of cutural places, beaches and couisine. It's known like the Black Roma and 80% people are black or mixed, but all folks get along well here.)
*São Paulo (if you like theaters, museums, literature, international restaurants... all those things a big cities have like Tokyo, New York, Mexico City...)
*Amazon Forest, if you like natural and exothic things. |

Rio de Janeiro
Adorned with the title, cidade maravilhosa, which means a marvellous city, Rio de Janeiro is a city with majestic beauty. It is one of the most densely populated places on earth. BrasÃlia
BrasÃlia, the capital of Brazil, is one of the world's most ruthless and planned cities. It officially became the capital in 1960. Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer designed the major official buildings. He also designed the famous world heritage site. Architect and urban planner Lucio Costa and landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx, planned the whole layout and also selected the green plant varieties for a green backdrop in the city. The city of Brasilia, which was otherwise dry, yellow and barren, was changed in the time span of just three years, from 1957to 1960.
Foz do Iguaçu or the Iguaçu Falls
The Rio Iguaçu appears in the mountains of Paraná and Santa Catarina at the seashore. The Iguaçu falls have an unsurpassed beauty. It widens in a grand fashion and arcs around a wonderful jungle stage. It further plunges and crashes down in the layered falls at the boundary with Paraguay and Argentina. The Iguaçu falls are over 3km wide and around 262 feet high and. The most excellent time to visit the falls is between August to November. It is the time when there is least risk of floodwaters around the area.
Salvador da Bahia
Salvador da Bahia is was Brazil's most ancient and important city. It was founded in the year 1549. The state of Bahia, which is often used for abbreviation to Salvador, is Brazil's most Africanized state. As the capital of Bahia, Salvador is a charming city and one of Brazil's cultural and tourism attractions.
Salvador is famous for its churches that are gold-filled, gorgeous mansions and the trade of slaves. It is famous among the tourists for its numerous wild festivals and universal aestheticism and profligacy. Many tourists come to Salvador just to participate in the Carnival.
São Paulo
São Paulo is South America's largest city and an intimidating place. Sáo Paulo's industrial growth and cultural variety has given birth to Brazil's chief, well-cultured and educated people. The people of São Paulo are famous for their liveliness and well-informed personalities. Tourists can thoroughly enjoy the exciting nightlife this one of the world's most vibrant places. The tourist attractions here include Niemeyer's EdifÃcio Copan, the baroque Teatro Municipal, the PatÃo do Colégio dating 16th-century and the Museu de Arte de Sáo Paulo (MASP). |

A good way to explore the area is a ride on the two suburban railwaylines. Foz do Iguaçu
he Iguaçu Falls are a stunning and breathtaking wonder of nature. These waterfalls are located near Foz do Iguaçu and Puerto Iguazú, at the border between Brazil and Argentine and not far from the border with Paraguay. The astonishing power of the Iguaçu Falls is a marvellous contrast with the tranquillity of the dense forest that surrounds it. The 275 falls of Iguaçu are spread over a distance of 2.7 kilometres and are separated by small, rocky islands that are often covered by lush vegetation. Some of these falls have an altitude of more then 80 metres. The most spectacular part is the Devil's Throat (Garganta do Diabo in Portuguese, Garganta del Diablo in Spanish). This is a fabulous U-shaped cliff with a width of 150 metres and a length of 700 metres where water falls over an altitude of 70 meters.
Porto seguro
Porto Seguro is located in the Southern part of Bahia State, 1200 km. north of Rio de Janeiro and 800 km south of Salvador. In portuguese Porto Seguro means safe port, and the city is named this, because it was the first place where the Portuguese set foot in Brazil back in 1500. |
