For a romantic trip, what hotels in Rio are a good choice?

What is a small and charming hotel with a good location in Rio?
In a perfect world, it would have a web site, with a few photos.

Thanks!

Yes, but not in d t Rio, it is a small city 3 hours from Rio, call Buzios.
This is the site, go in english.

Best Beach:
The small sister of the João Fernandes Beach, João Fernandinho has waters that blend tones of blue and green. The rocky shores on the right side are good for snorkeling and scuba diving. Seagulls and White-Bellied Boobies are seen frequently.

Have a nice trip.

Humm, if you mean around Rio, a agree Paraty is a good choice, 2/3 h from Rio. However, if you mean Rio de Janeiro, the city, and really can afford, go to Copacabana Palace $$$$$,
But let me think.... cheaper..... romantic trip.... errr.... Sol Ipanema 11th or 12th floor with view to Ipanema beach.
Or, if you are up to explore around Rio, go 2h north to a place called Buzios where you will find lovely beaches, excellente restaurants, many with live music, it is a trendy resort.
Paraty is a lovely colonial town, Buzios is more modern and beaches easily accessible. Suggest Casacolina hotel in Buzios (we call 'pousada'). Only problem Buzios is full of pretty people what can distract your attencion.
Enjoy.
I forgot to mention Hotel Fa$$$$$ano in Ipanema, rio

Pousada do Principe in Paraty, Rio de Janeiro,
You can be accommodates of the prince Dom João de Orleans e Bragança for us call affectionately of prince little João (principe Joãozinho), his grangrandgrandfather was big João. The place is paradisiacal the city was built in 1540 and it is with the preserved patrimony, UN classified it as the humanity's historical patrimony. See the images in the link.

It depends on your finances. If you can spend upwards of $300.00-450.00 dollars a night, then I would consider the Hotel Fasano in Ipanema, the JW Marriott in Copacabana, or the Copacabana Palace. The Hotel Fasano is a newer hotel, which has a very retro feel.

If you're on a more limited budget, but still want a nice, clean, contemporary hotel, with a great staff(at least it was when I was there) I would go to the Mirasol Hotel. It's on Rua Rodolfo Dontas, about a block from the beach, although a lot if not all of the rooms, including the Presidential Suite, have views of the beach and ocean. I really love this hotel. It's also in a nice part of town, with a store right down the street, and a little bar/restaurante across the street.

Now, if you're looking for things to do, the beach, always a nice spot, Ipanema is great for shopping, Forte de Copacabana is a must see, and their Sangria is phenomenal! Arpoador is VERY nice at night, and if you're looking for a romantic spot- that is it!

Enjoy your time, it's a FABULOUS place, which one day I will call home.
