Going to Rio de Janeiro Brazil?

I've heard that Rio De Janeiro is an amazing city, especially at night, I heard it is also known as one of the sex capitals of the world, along with Amsterdam, Bangkok, etc, Im planning to go to Rio, does anyone have any personal experiences if you've gone there. thanks

Hi Marley!

Man, that city rocks, i almost arrived from Rio and got lot of good memories... you can read an article about Rio in wikipedia, is very informative:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rio_De_Janeiro

That city has almost everything to any taste, i did crazy river rafting and enjoyed the colonial buildings of imperial age... is really something else.

Another good option is the nightlife, people is so easygoing that you feels confortable... really cool, and everybody is welcoming, the beaches are stunning, you will not get tired of that city so easily. And man, is curious there, you can find any kind of "race" there, since a japanese(with breast and butt[is really rare]) to a stunning "mulata" walking on the beach, a real mix of races and cultures... is a magical place, no doubt.

And is a really cheap trip too, because our dollar is almost triple of local money(1,00 Dollar = 2,40 Real[local money]), so you triple your budget there. So you can enjoy everything.

So whatever you choose another important tip that you can keep in mind if you wanna save money is to buy everything from an agency, cause they used to have better prices(even better than book directly from hotels) and you can count with some support on your trip, in rio i used this one: http://www.riodejaneiro-hotels.travel/
They are really reliable and cheap, and the most important thing is that agency have a local office, so you can count with a real good service and sharp knowledge of the place.

Yes. It's a beautiful place. Hope you have the same experience.
P.S. I hope you're not going there to have sex . LOL, ♥

hehe...hmm yea mainly true, rio is beautiful but like any other city in the world, learn some basic portuguese so ppl wont take advantage of u (duhh) and be safe :)

I was born there (ilha do governador) and came here when i was like what hm 13...so yea i do have the experience lol..
specially in copacabana if you go be carefullllll dont go wondering like crazy, careful where you go and dont taking all ur belongings with you thats just crazy lol

And enjoy the sight viewing xD its beautiful, the beaches and the women, and thats pretty much it, not much ppl need to know, just to be safe, learn a lil bit of the basic of the language and have fun, which wont be hard to do since its rio, fun just comes with the package lol

Oh i did forget to mention when you go make sure you go to Buzios, its the most beautiful place in rio for SUREEE, clear water (as far as i know), just beautiful do go there you'll love it.
and its more tourist safe unlike copacabana.

And if u taking this into concideration, do go to other cities?...like Recife, recife is really great i've been there and it was awesome... So do some research when you go to brazil, when ur going to brazil you wanna make the most of it eh?!!!...so look for other places to go if u can... to really experience brazil fully ^^
