Ive been to many many places in the world and you'll be pleased to know that i think the best place i visited was Brazil! It absoltely fantastic and i would recomend it to anyone.
Its sooo diverse and you you dont just have to stay in the city all of your time, in Rio (where i stayed for part of the time), the jungle is only just outside of the city - i'd say about half an hour away! Its really weird!
The sites are amazing, the people, the place, the climate, the culture...etc.
Just one thing, if your going, please please be careful in places like Rio and keep your whits about you around the places near the favellas (shanty towns), these are the little communities rested on hills in the city where people from the outskirts of the city come into and build there own housing and start a new life. They tend to be a bit dangerous as they have alot of 'Mafia' groups selling drugs etc... Police have to be fully armed to go into those communities. But dont worry you wont just acidentally walk into one without knowing its a favella!
I hope that hasnt put you off going to Brazil - and just remember, in every country theres negative things.

Its amazing, according to the city you can find all you want, beaches, cultural centers, shopping, women - men wonderful, great food and caipirinhaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!! You can go to Sao, Rio, Foz de Iguazu and then the north like Salvador Bahia. There are more cities but your trip depends on how many days you have. |

Spent 3 months there last year its a great place most of my time was in Sao Paulo sometime in Rio. Just be careful use your head you will love it. I travel alone where ever I go. I dont know if you are but its better that way you can do what ever you want to do and you will meet many more people like that. Also learn basic Brazilian Port. you need it I met one person who spoke English and I didnt speak a lick of port. If you know spanish that will work most times. Have fun |

I had a friend who was a comm. pilot and only flew N/S to not get jet lag. he spent lots of time in Brazil I mean he would go for two weeks and then a month later go for two more weeks. He loved it there. BUT he also said it was the most beautiful and disgusting place on earth at the same time. |

I just returned from a trip to Brazil. It was wonderful! The people are super friendly, and it is a beautiful country. It is also quite safe, as long as you stay away from unsafe places such as favellas. If you are planning a trip, well, good for you. It is expensive to go to Brazil and tourist places are pricey, but well worth it. |
