Yes, been to Brasilia many times. Its a very weird city.
Not only the architecture.
Keep in mind that Brasilia was founded in 1960, therefore very recently. Its a giant mix of people from different corners of Brasil.
Very corrupt, it was designed to have 500,000 people by 2000 and it actually had 2,5 million.
Also, even though designed by Lucio Costa and Oscar Niemeyer (who claims to be Comunist) the moment you say your address, people will know if you live in a 1 bedroom apartment, a 4 bedroom one, or a mansion.
Very weird.
Also, in Brasilia and the surrounding cities there are several spiritual, holistic and such Shirley Maclainish stuff. A llot of it seems fake to me, but I´m sure there are true believers.

It´s weather is mild during summer, but gets VERY dry during winter, when actually there are very hot days.

Anyway, not a place Im fond of.

I am from Brazil but never been to Brasilia. there is nothing much there except for the house of our corrupt government.
