Have you been to Brazil? what was it like over there?

I really want to visit Brazil next year particuarly Sao Paulo, the country looks fascinating and of course the scenery and language is gorgeous too, has anybody ever been? and what did you think of it? what is the culture like? and last but not least which airline did you fly with? I live in the UK and have seen some flights out there and I must say they are pretty expensive, but still fancy going all the same, all tips appreciated thanks
