At first, I'd like to say the differences between Brazilian Portuguese and European Portuguese are not so big. The biggest differences are the accents of both of them and some words that they are different.
Let's go:

It seems a gay dialogue, because of something that I will say:
The word "Rapaz" means "boy" in English. And if the person are saying that it's leaving the wife... so, the only person that leaves the wife is a husband (man).
(HEY! It's NOT a prejudice if you are gay. I'm just doing a detailed analysis).
The Latin languages has different words to express something for men and women. In the translation, if you want to put the words that they are in male way for the female way, I'll put the ways below:

Rapaz* - Moça
meu - minha*
seu* - sua
* - it means the words that they are in the translation.
Vocabulário:
[Rapaz - it's a way to call any person (the men, usually). It's usually spoke in Brazilian Northeast.
