How can I move to Brazil? |
Hello, I am an American wanting to live in Brazil *in particular, Americana, são paolo state* I am currently learning Portuguese so I can live there in a few years, but how do I get a job? I don`t need a fancy job, seeing as I don`t have a college degree, just enough to make a living...Is it easy for americans to get a job there/move there? And do I need a visa, switch citizenship, etc... how does all that work? And finding an apartment or somethnig to live in? And moving my things there? I have been there before and it is a great place! It`s my dream to live there.... I`d be happy if someone could help me :) |

Hello, I'm a brazilian, If your dream is to live in Brazil, my advise is "don't live in são paulo" that place is a concrete jungle, lots of trafic jam, its dangerous, there is no trees in the city.
There are many better places for you to live in Brazil, where you can find peace, and see the beauty of Brazil.
Living in são paulo you will only see buildings, and concrete.
If you want to livi in a big city, go to Curitiba or Florianopolis.
I'm sure you will enjoy much more! |

Hey I'm from Brazil and I live un the USA. I know it is pretty easy to get a job there once you learn portuguese, because you will be bilingual, and not a lot of poeplo there can speak two languages. You can get a job at a restaurant or a hotel or something. And yeah, u need a visa, a work visa preferably, because if u get a job at a legit place they will wnat to see that u can legally work in the country. To move ur things just look for one of these companies that do that for you, they come to your house and pack all ur things for you, theres plenty of them out there.
Hope this helped |

Hello!
There are some websites which help foreign to find a place to stay. I think if you have complete high school, it´s enough to find AT LEAST a job in Americana. You need Visa to live and work here. You can check in brazilian embassy in US.
Good luck for you! Hugs. |
