Help is very famous among Brazilian prostitutes from all over the country.
The girls at the small brothels from the small towns from northern and northeastern states, they keep talking about Help all the time.
It is like a legend for them: a place where they can make their money with no pimps, just cheating the stupid gringos who can´t imagine they only want their money.
I´ve been many times to places like those (for anthropological research), and heard many times this kind of chat about Help. We all laughed together many times about how can foreigners be so naive, and believe all the lies those girls tell them... |

These women comes from rural areas trying to maximize their income. Help is a known place, however there's better joints to go if you want to get better p****. A lot of them tell their families they work with sales, they stay away for 1 month maybe two and come back with $; it's a sad situation because many would not do it if the god damn country and it's politicians would do what's right for the country.
Many have to support their whole family including grand ma, pa, mom, dad, cousins and so forth. SAD |
