Brazilian is great country and there are many options for you have a fun. Out of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo there many attractions. Follow my sugestions.
If you enjoy beaches you can try one of the beaches in the northest of Brazil. One of this beach has been considered the best beach of Brazil: Porto de Galinhas beach.
Other option is to visit the Brazil during some festivals such as: Carnival and São João ( festas juninas).
The mian place to enjoy the Carnival are: Rio de Janeiro, Bahia and Pernambuco (the same state of Porto de Galinhas Beach). Each one has a different kind of carnival. However the party in Pernambuco happened on the street and you don´t pay anything. São João party is one of the most famous festival of the Brazil and happened in the northest of Brazil. The best time to enjoy this party is June and the most famous places are: Caruaru and Campina Grande. Caruaru is located in Pernambuco state and Campina Grande is into ParaÃba. These states are together and the distance between the cities are 200 Km.

amazing. fly to rio then get a bus a couple of hours south to ilha grande (sp?) - beautiful island with no cars, plenty of sunshine, beaches, bods to watch. if you go for 3 weeks the cost of the flight will pay itself back. oh, go to Parati nearby too. and further up in the north of brazil is supposed to be amazing too. first day on this website and i love it! |
