How hard is it to work in Brazil as a US citizen?

I have a lot of interest in southern Brazil. (Florianopolis) How hard is it to live and work there? Just temporarily, like a working holiday.
Additional Details
Actually in southern Brazil, most people do have blonde hair and blue eyes, and many still speak German, and some Italian.

do your self a favor stay in the states

job here sucks, sooo many hours
superlow paying jobs

and very corrupted, I'm a college grad from the university of Maryland and a high school drop out is my boss because he is the son son in law of the owner... I get blame for his mistake and he takes my credit.

If I had papers to work there,I would go in a heart beat....if you just want to have a good time just bring cash and do it.. but don't waste you're time here... not to say you're not welcome, butyou will hate it unless you're not here to have sex with girls

I hear a lot of Brazilians don't like Americans, especially stereotypical Americans (Blond hair, blue eyes, etc) It may or may not be hard for you individually..
