How to spend 5 hours in Sao Paulo Brazil? |
My collegue and I, both in their lat 30s male, have 5 hrs between the flights to/from GRU. How to kill it in a pleasant fashion in SP (rather then sit at the airport) |

The traffic is chaotic in SP and there's nothing close to Guarulhos (GRU airport).
The Brazilian Feijoada is amazing but DO NOT eat it before traveling. Since you're not used to it, you'll feel sick! |

Dont leave the airport.the airport is GIGANTIC, and it takes HOURS to get through the lines.
Dont leave. You wont make it back for your plane.
Last time I was in Brazil, we got to the airport 5 hours before the plane was to take off.
By the time we got through everything, we had 15mins until boarding time.
There is not enough time to leave. Besides, outside, it is just a huge parkinglot that isnt really near anything that you could go to, AND be back in time for your flight. Well, just a bunch of palm trees. lol. |

the time goes really fast in the airport and there are things you can do in the air port its self it, personally i wouldn't go any were i would stay there |

Even though you are in São Paulo it does not mean that the center is any close to Guarulhos. I advise you to stay at the airport. You can do plenty of stuff over there. You won't be able to do anything fun because you won't have enough time :)
Plus, the lines int he airport tend to be very HUGE. Unless you wanna miss your flight, you should stay there. |

Brazil is a sh*t believe me i`ve been there and it`s not worth the money..drug dealers in every corner of the street, barefooted children, everybody staring at you asking of you can help them with some money,.,prostitutes in every corner too..the beach is the best. |
