Go to any newspaper stand and get a copy of the magazine "Veja Sao Paulo". If you don't read portuguese, ask someone in the hotel. there you will find all the answers you need.
- For flip flops: they are sold anywhere in Brazil. Just enter to any shoe stores and get some pairs.
- For funk bailes: check the magazines or go online. I don't know
- Kilo restaurant: again they are everywhere in the city.
Which part of SP are you staying?
Some nice areas to shop and eat are: Jardins, Higienopolis, Oscar Freire Street, Pinheiros, etc...
Things MUST DO:
1) Find out where you can go to dance or watch samba with the "samba Schools of Sao Paulo".
2) Watch a soccer match in SP
3) Ibirapuera Park is very nice, similar to Central Park in NY
4) Walk on Avenida Paulista. You will find plenty of restaurant per kilo. It is the main street of Sao Paulo
5) go to a top of a building to view the immense city of SP. Banespa and Edifiio Italia offer tremendous views
6) Enjoy night life in Sao Paulo
7) Drink lots of caipirinhas and "chops".
8) Eat feijoada our tradicional meal with black beans
Have fun! |

Go to a nice "Churrascaria RodĂzio" (all you can eat barbecue kebabs)...just wonderfull.
I recommend you to go to "Fogo de ChĂŁo", the best churrascaria of Brazil.
PS: Baile Funk is crap...don´t go.
PS2: Flip flop are available in any shopping mall around city. |
