It depends if you intend to visit the beaches or the cemeteries. In the beaches the people are alive in the cemetery most is dead

In this clip actor Heriberto Leão declaims Glauber Rocha's manifesto.

There will be plenty of tourists on the beach in june but it will not be overcrowded. Mainly European and american. Also a lot of locals at the weekends.

THe beaches in rio are never dead, unless the weather is really bad.
Cisne, you're funny! RSRSRS

It will be a rainy season, but for those days that will be sunny, beaches in Brazil are always crowded.

Of course will be people on the beach in july, not exactly to swin but to feel the breeze, play a little sand soccer and play volleyball very nice time for you go to the beach because you handle the warm wheater in Brazil, in the summer, I'll never go, it is beautifull, but the sun is to much intense and can make you very toasted !! ,

im from brazil and i went to Rio de Janeiro a couple years ago the beaches are always packed no matter what so it will be pretty fun and sometimes they have festivals over there. oh and don't forget to try the coconut!

June can be very cold in Rio--in the 60s farenhight even in the daytime and you will not see many people on the beach. The water is warm, though. Also, the days are very short in June.

I've been there during every month of the year and June is the coldest and most overcast with some rain.

In mid-June...what do you expect?? The beaches are gonna be full of beautiful people.
