Rio is for the summer and Bariloche for the winter.Both are really beautiful.
Go to Bariloche if you want to ski, see snow, and drink hot beverages.
Go to Rio, if you want to stay the all day at the beach drinking beer.
Although I'm brazilian, I prefer the winter so I think Bariloche is better, but the decision is up to you. |

Well! I don't know about Bariloche, because I've never been there. I suppose Bariloche is most beautiful on winter.
Rio de Janeiro is really, really, really beautiful on summer.
I don't know if I understood you question, but do you want to know if Rio and Bariloche are beautiful on winter while in USA is summer? If it is: Rio is really beautiful in all epochs of the year, but it's bored in raining days (and it almost never happens). About Bariloche, I don't know. |

Rio de Janeiro is a great place to spend the summer, but beware, Rio de Janeiro may be beautiful but it's very dangerous because the slum's bandits. |

Hey George L, is everything alright?
Man, I guess bariloche is a kind of place that you can enjoy the snow to ski, snowboard, delicious hot chocolates, drinks, this kind of stuff.
But Rio is the kind of Summer place, you know, that you can enjoy amazing beaches, natural paradises, Radical sports, hot girls walking in sand, man I love that place, is crazy place that you can spend all day in beaches, day tours and at night you can go to a night club, bars or eat local food(feijoada, you must try that is kind of beans is very tasty).
Well, if i have to choose i will go to Rio, bariloche is cool but rio is more fun.
All i can say is to travel is good to go by an agency, you know, is safe, you can find nice and cheaps hotels and tours, i go by that site, they never failed me.
