If Brazilians use ethanol fuel, does that mean that they no longer import petroleum from foreign countries :]? |
I was reading up a little bit on ethanol fuel in Brazil, and I understand you guys use this thing called E85 in your vehicles, which blends ethanol with other chemical substances.
So does Brazil still import some petrol from OPEC countries (such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Russia, etc.)?

Brazil produces and exports petroleum, including to the US.
Not all vehicles here use ethanol as fuel, many use a mixture of ethanol and gasoline.
