Brazil is versatile and dynamic--from the lush rainforests to the thriving city life in Rio & Sao Paolo. My very, very (very!) favorite place in Brazil is Iguazu Falls. One of the most beautiful places on earth...

I have not been to Brazil but would love to visit.

My impression is images of Brazil range from Carnival to the gigantic Jesus statue. The people seem warm and friendly, the food is good and they have a good soccor team.

When you first arrive at the airport be aware of your surroundings, so you don't get robbed. Don't drink the tap water there or you will get sick. When walking at night, be very carefull, i was robbed there(Rio de janeiro) 7 times. Don't eat raw meat, or Carpaccio as they call it. Don't walk in Copacabana (Rio) at night, is full of prostitutes harassing you. When you are with kids it's a disaster, because in every news stand there are playboy magazines and most sexually explicit ones right on the door, VERY EXPOSED. Very expensive, the beaches are polluted, they throw raw sewage on the beach. Just avoid. Friendly advice.
