In Brazil, which regions are poorest and which are richest and why?

Well.. It is really hard to tell which regions in Brazil are the poorest because we are probably one of the most unequal countries in the whole world, being that even our capital is filled with poor people when it is supposed to be developed.
However, from personal opinion, the region that is the poorest would be in the North. This is because they don't have any resources like clean water, food, and an infrastructure overall that would allow them to have the basics. There are many small cities and towns that suffer a lot because they don't have access to water and the climate is really HOT. A lot of the vegetation that they have there is lost simply because of the high temperature and low amounts of rain. Therefore, that means that there is no food and no water.
