Mana

In love with Brazil. Never been but love the country. I travel a lot and I am planning on going soon?

Brazilians or people who visited or lived there please tell me what you think of the country, where to go, what to see, do, where to stay. I know it's a big country. I don't speak Portuguese but speak English, French, German and a little Spanish. Heck, I could even move there! I work freelance and don't need to look for a job there.
Please share with me.
Thanks!

For those considering immigrating to Brazil, opportunities are opening up in many areas. In the current economic climate Brazil’s strongest sectors are technology-related, such as telecommunications, computer science, web design and electronic engineering. Brazil is already the eighth largest telecommunication market in the world. Brazil welcomes people that are highly skilled in any capacity, although areas such as consulting, English language teaching, tourism or development work are highly sought after.

You will need a residence Visa to stay in Brazil for more than six months.Check with the Brazilian Consulate.

Before Moving , I would spend several months in Brazil to see if you enjoy it. Dreaming and reality are two differate things.
The big cities have a lot of crime due to poverty and injustice.
The Brazilians are friendly people.
Each city is completely different, go and see which one suits your temperament.
