The climate is great, most of the year warm, besides all over the country you have beaches. The people is very kind and friendly, the language is easy to learn and to understand, and the food is okay.
i recommend you¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

Probably you'll want to live in southeast like São Paulo or Rio where the climate is good all along the year and have all the confort of the big cities, or you want to live un the northeast like Salvador in the state of Bahia or Recife in Pernambuco where the climate is hot and there have the most beautiful beachs of the world but not as developed as southeast.
It all depends if you come to work (southeast ) or to enjoy your retirement (northeast ), and by the way i'm brazilian from São Paulo and sorrry for my english ;¬P

Depends.Where???

Try somewhere in the South, there you have perfect beaches and beautiful ppl.

I was wondering the same thing, as compared to Australia.I know there are parts where the people live in poverty, like the ghetto's, and there are the rich that lap up the beautiful big resort that it is, with weather always in the 20's to high 30's.
