I'm going to assume you don't know the language so your work would probably be in tourism. I will also assume you're from the US so i will say that the salary will be NOWHERE near what you're used to, unless you're unemployed here of course.

But as far as living I would say some would say it's near paradise.

Yes, very hard, because it is a tourist city and things are very expensive. Good jobs are hard to find.
