Is Passo Fundo a nice place for a holiday?

I saw Passo Fundo, RS on a TV documentary and thought it looks nice. I've been looking on some websites and I think I would like to visit there. Is it a good place for a holiday? Would one week be enough to get a good taste of the place?

It is a small city in the south of Brazil.
It is their inhabitants' folkloric because big part use the typical clothes of the gauchos. The baggy that it is the wide pants and the wool poncho. it is a rural city, very calm, and that some snow falls on the winter. They drink the chimarão that is a type of tea Mate that is drunk in the Bottle gourd, that is a the jug with a silver tube that has a filter in the tip to filter the tea.
In Rio Grande do Sul has the ruins of the Missions.They are very beautiful and you magnify. Where still the Guaranís Indians live.
