It is legal to drink almost anywhere. It is frowned aboutin public transit areas such as the subway. It is now zero tollerance when driving in Brazil and this new law is strictly inforced. |

In the beach, street and bars, no problem.
It is not ussually to drink into the subway and buses.
In the statium, all the public drinking before the game. Recently, our law changed. During the game, it´s not allowed. |

Yes, you can drink alcohol in public, but not subway.

For sure! It's legal to drink whatever you want and wherever you are.
But you can't just drink alcoholic drinks if you being to drive. Because recently it was made a law that if you having a little of alcohol in your blood you can go jailed. And if you killing a person in a driving accident (it doesn't matter if you wanted or not) you will answer for a crime with intention of killing.
Brazil to the rest of the world means women, alcoholic drinks, soccer etc...But many people forget Brazil is a country with constitutional laws. Take care of everything. Here is not a country like Sodom or Gomorrah.
