I“m not brazilian, I“m colombian.. but I“m south american.. I can say you this

thiese are countries in way to developed... there are many contrasts, you can find neighbours with people with many money, and you can find very poor countries... (it“s cause of neo-liberalis, or wild capitalism)

Brazil suffered a dictartorship in the last years, (it was part of south american dictartorship, or "plan condor"... USA and CIA funded because they don“t wanna comunism in these countries

the brazilian dictartorship was Figueiredo... but there were other bloody dictartorships as Videla in Argentina, Pinochet in Chile or Stroessner in Paraguay...

that was the American right politics version of eastern europe dictartorships... part of the blame of the povertry in these countries is by it... USA is the blame

many people don“t know anithing of some countries, and people talks about it by Hollywood Stereotypes... but they are only movies... the most things it shows is false or exaggerated

I can say you it, because Holliwood always have treaty do a business with the image of my country... it is the same in the case of Brazil

don“t believe al than Holliwood shows, because it“s a dirty bussiness

its all true. but you know what the funny thing is...they didnt even make the movie in the actual, "city of god" favela, because it was too dangerous to go in. all this happens in Rio, and all around Brasil. The rich (who can afford it) take helicopters, to travel from one side of the the city to another, just to avoid going in the favela. the Favelas are even more dangerous than war zones in iraq. sad but true. read this

BULLSHIT. It“s only a movie. Take a look at some serious guide about our country. I saw on CNN that São Paulo was as violent as Iraq. Well, I“m living in São Paulo since 1998 and I never saw a single crime... Our subway is considered as safe as Paris“. I don“t know how can a war be happening above the subway and everything be as good as in France downstairs.
