I know it is last minute and it's carnival and all, That said, I need a place February 19-23 2009 not to expensive to stay in the Ipanema,Copacabana, Lemme area. I already have my airfare tickets but no where to stay (fell through) Where is a decent place not to expensive or who can I check with?!? |

Hello there!
Well, i guess it will be hard to you to found somewhere to stay in this dates, because is in the middle of Carnival Period, All hotels in Rio have a package in this period between 20/02 to 25/02, also Carnival is the biggest party in Brazil and Rio de Janeiro is the biggest focus of that party, so every hotel must be sold out, but i guess is nice to check, I used to travel by this agency:

They are clear and reliable, if exist avaiability on Rio de Janeiro they will book to you.
To give you some advice is good to plan this kind of trip(during High season) with advance.
