Parcels to PO Boxes in Rio/Brasil?
I need to send a parcel to a friend who is currently traveling around Brazil. As he is traveling he has no fixed address that I can send it to. I do know he will be in Rio for a fair bit of time.
Does anyone know of any kind of PO Box service where I can send it to a certain address where he than then go there, give them a code/order number etc, and then pick it up.... I have tried DHL/UPS/TNT and haven't found anything useful.
He doesn't know where he will be staying so I cannot use that as an option and send to his hotel.
You can actually send it to a post office address care of the office.
It's called POSTA RESTANTE.
And his name.
Just make sure he goes to the post office you've mailed.
At the post office, PO boxes are hard to get, and he'll need a CPF (sort of like social security) to get one.
Posta restante is your answer.
Or find out a hotel he's staying at.
