Please suggest hotels or website for my trip?

I am going with a group of friends to Brazil in July. We already have hotels for Rio and the Amazon because we are going with a tour company but we plan on travelling on our own after that.

Can you suggest hotels or websites where I can find hotels in Salvador and Iguassu Falls.

Give a call to Mr. (ask me) at the Central de Turismo he is a very nice guy who will respond your questions better than anyone else.
He will be more than happy to assist you.
His experience in Brazil is broad and as a world citizen he knows what is best there and every where.
You can say that I (ask me) made the referral.
He speak English and he comes from a traditional family.
In Salvador do not be paranoid about food, Brazilians eat very well, "churrasco", "vatapa", "acaraje", "muqueca de peixe", etc, so have no fear and freshness.
Opt for the local cuisine "comida Baiana" its delicious, and to drink nothing better than "caipirinha de pinga".
We have golden arcs but its nonsense to eat that garbage there, you can trust in the food in any good place, there is flavor, there is quality and nothing is boring, every city is different than the others.
Enjoy the country where freedom really means happiness.
Cheers.

I enjoyed the Hotel Taroba in Foz do Iguaçu last June. The staff was friendly, my ground floor room had a pleasant patio, breakfast was substantial, buses to the falls were handy, and they had Internet access. All for about $23/night. It was my favorite lodging on the six-city trip.

Tell 'em the American who rooted for the U.S. against Ghana in the World Cup sent ya.

P.S. I almost forgot: There was cold beer available from the desk, and a chapel in the room at the end of the hall.

Some of the best prices can be found with the number one receptive tour operator in Brazil. www.Clubtours.com.br

There rates are usually 20% less then Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz or any other online site and they have every region in Brazil and Argentina You will however need to call them or email them since they do not have online booking engine however they have by far the most destination savvy reservation agents.

There local US numbers are:
1-516-203-4808
1-617-209-4199
1-215-989-4720
