Italian Stallion

Question about clothing style in Brasil...?

Boa noite a todos!!

I'm going to Brasil this Thursday for the first time in my life with a friend. We seem to be very prepared and are very excited to come visit your country. I just wanted to know one thing. Even though Brazilians will notice that I am an Italian Gringo, I still do not want to stick out too much.

What kind of clothes should I wear in Brazil? I have nice jeans, some new shorts, and brown "sketcher" sneakers. I hear they wear the brands "Nike" and "Asics". Should I get a new pair of sneakers or am I ok with the ones I have?

What color shirts should I wear? Or should I buy my clothes in Brazil?

Obrigado,

Stallion

Hi!
Well when i was there, last year, i noticed that brazilian, have people of every style you image from rock to local style, but the common cloathes is casual, jeans is a good idea but if you got some shorts is much better cause is summer season, the most common brands is nike, adidas, diesel and for shirts i guess light color at day(red, yeallow, even pink is good) and dark colors in night(black, dark green, brown).
I guess they are very equal to eua style.
Oh! a good tip for that is going to brazil is to get a trustworthy agency to find better prices and good suppliers, if you are going to Rio de Janeiro, i suggest this one: http://www.riodejaneiro-hotels.travel/

Good travel

If you use: very colorful clothes, sandals with socks, camera hanging on the neck, bags tied at the waist, shoes with socks to the knees, everyone will realize that you're foreigners.

Shirts with shorts and slippers or tennis, is an appropriate clothing. Is very hot here this time of year.
Sunglasses and caps are essential because of the very hot sun.

Well, if you work in a big company office or as a lawyer, like this

But I think you don't wanna look like a business man so.. try this

Cap not required, but it will help you 'cause the sun.

Don't worry about brands. I wear clothes I bought in my trips and I don't mind about what others think. Just sandals, t-shirts and shorts would be enough.

The point is.. don't act like a "gringo". And if you are white like milk, so... no matter what you do. You will look like a gringo.

And what the heck you mean by stallion? Another "gringo" looking for "brazilian mulatas"? C'mon.
