Brazilians are extremely hospitable, they will give up a seat for a visitor in a heart beat, and they greet new people very enthusiastically
Brazilian communities are very tightly knit (at least in Sao Jose do Rio Preto, Sao Paulo). The houses are close together and everyone in the neighborhood knows everyone else.
Most of the families (that I have met) keep dogs. There are also a lot of strays that come visit just about anywhere. I saw a dog in a church, a restaurant and even the Municipal Building! (Luckily, I love dogs so this makes me happy.) |

1st - Brazil has it's problems, but not as many as foreign ppl portray...
2nd - Not only Brazilians are destroying the rain forest... by the way we're one of the few countries that have kept a forest for so long... If everyone must know, before men, the world was a huge forest... It's easy to blame us for something everyone already did.
3rd - the most known parts of Brazil are dangerous... but there are some wonderful unknown places where a good guide should take tourists so they'll have a great time here... |
