Most part of the favela's people are honest and work very hard. The movie however was a very realistic approach about the drug and social problems.

The series reflects the reality, however it is not 80% of the Brazilian population lives in those conditions. I believe that 30% of the population of the great cities live in that way. In the interior there is poverty however it is not as in the slums of the great cities.
