You should choose one theme: soccer, carnival or beach. Because these themes are the soul of Brazil.

You can also give glasses yellow and green, masks, and song instruments (toys) while the people where dancing. It´s very funny!!

About foods brigadeiro is a great idea as a dessert.

But you must not forget the drink: the caipirinha (Caipirinha is made of "Cachaça" - which is a destilated product derivated from sugar cane - lemon, sugar and ice.)
With this drink your party will be a success!! A lot of laughs and fun!!

Some good decorations should involve something about the Brazilian National Soccer team(especially because we are in a World Cup Year.Fifa) and stuff from the Carnivals like masks and beads. Also Brazilians people really love Barbecues so if you could incorporate that into the party it would be very good, unless the party is indoor.

make the decoration green and yellow, like the Brazilian flag.
I also think that some soccer balls and carnival masks would be good.
=)

Hello !
Here are some tips:

- Yellow and green.. some blue also. These are the BR colors.
- Pictures os sunny beachs and the see
- Carnival clothes
- Some bossa nova and samba music
- About the food: if it's outdoor, you could make a barbecue (not in the american way.. We dont make sausages or hamburgers.. nor the barbecue souce)
We use only salt "not that thin one.. we use one that is a little bigger... it's like some little salt stones)
We choose carefuly with piece of meat will we cook.. and make it slow (with coal ! always !)
We also have bread, some vegetables and some pork meat also)

If you want to make some tradtional candyes.. you could make a "brigadeiro" ! That very easy to do and it's a national delicious !
