What's considered a customary and decent gift to bring from USA to Brazil for our cousins ?

This will be the first time we meet them, but they are a well-to-do family, and have planned a great treatment and hospitality for us. We would like to bring them something to show our appreciation. There are young ones (20's), middle aged and an elderly lady. Thanks in advance for your advises, which will be greatly appreciated, especially if you're originally from Brazil, you could give us a great tip as to what's in demand nowdays. Thanks so much.

For the young ladies take Victoria's secret lotions, perfums, make up, they will love!!!! They are extremely expensive and brazilian ladies love them, guaranteed.
If you can expend more money, the ipods will be great. The vitamins we buy at walgreens normally are much more expensive in Brasil. When I go I carry them with me to give my mom, aunts, dad etc.. (you can ask them in advance if they are interested). Another thing middle age ladies would like are those digital photos key chains and digital pictures frame.
Whatever you take prepare yourself for a big hug and kiss!

For the Young's I suggest something like MP3, or something related to computers (palm top, for example).
For middle age, I think that perfume, or cremes to body/face would be nice.
For the elderly lady, something beautiful for the house.

I really think that whatever you buy they will absolutely appreciate. Brazilians are simple and specially knowing that they got a gift from another country they will so happy.

It's difficult to recommend without having a budget, but for the 20's anything related to eletronics even a cheap MP3 will make him really happy. If he has a video game bring a nice game for him.
Elderly lady: how about a nice scarf? Or even a nice umbrela! Dont' laugh, but my grandmom and aunts always ask me to bring them umbrelas from the USA heheh
Middle age: if it's a girl maybe a doll or if it's a boy again i will bring something related to eletronics...

Take care,

My mother has 79 years-old and she would be very flattered if she received from present a crystal jar. Already the 20 year-old youth is difficult to say I have two nieces of that same age but both have very different personalities, one is happy in receiving presents to involve feelings and memories, a simple carries picture with the picture of the family for her is a great present, I bought for her an it carries digital pictures. I put my mother's picture with 3 years old, her father's picture with the same age and my niece's picture also with 3 years old, she liked a lot, but the other and I simply gave up on giving a present, I put money in an envelope and I give for her to buy what wants, nothing pleases her. In general the Brazilian youths like electronic apparels.

I would bring things from the U.S. that you like that they couldn't find in Brazil. Your list would probably differ, but I would bring:

1) Pop-Tarts. I've never been able to find them in Sao Paulo, and they are about the most American product I can think of.

2) Peanut butter. You can find some peanut butter here, but it's not very good. (You might want to check if there are any restrictions on bringing peanut products into Brazil.)

3) Some good microbrew beer. The chopp (unpasteurized draft beer) you can get at bars in Brazil is good, but the bottles and cans you buy at the store are pretty bland.
