What can me and my husband wear for a New Year Party in Brazil?

you should really wear WHITE! it's the proper color to wear during this special occasion. You can more than likely purchase something once you get there. the weather should be spectacular there and Brazil has a ton of places to purchase clothing from, especially if you're going to a major city. There's always duty free. I found that there were plenty of very nice malls along the coast. you can find everything there that you need an more. If you're stuck in winter, you can always opt to shop online, if you'd prefer to not have to deal with shopping in Brazil since finding an outfit while on vacation is probably the last thing you'll want to stress yourself with. Good luck on your search. And remember to wear white!

Please no dress black.
Dress any color, but no black, because if he be dressed of black nobody will be close to him.
Yellow - it means money, gold, prosperity.
Red - love, passion.
Blue - calms peacefulness
White - peace
Green - health.

Choice one of the colors above and everything will be well.
But black no, it means death, loss, solitude.

Simply think of a summer party in California and you will be just fine. Brazilians are not very formal in their attire. They are not stuffy but more practical. The ladies have rather skimpy clothing and the men are in shorts and sport shirts. Even a fancy yacht club will not be in formal attire. Go with something in the middle, a summer dress and nice sports attire.

Hello! I'm Brazilian and here is my answer:
The people usually use white clothes, but sometimes we use different colors, each one has a meaning. Red is passion, pink is love, blue is friendship, green is good luck, yellow is money, orange is health and, obviously, white is peace. This is our culture. But some people don't care for this.
And here we are in Summer (i think that you already know), it's very warm, but may rain.

Well! We wear in Brazil light colors because it means peace. But the clothes don't make your style.
This a New Year case. I'm a man and I don't understand very much of fashion. But I'll try to help you.
I think you should buy something like beige... I don't know... But I think white suit won't be difficult to find there, because suits in all places you have whites.
Hmm... Why don't you come to Brazil some days before the New Year? I suppose it would be the best for you two!
