Brazil seems to be a strange place to me. Somewhere I would love to visit.
I have seen all the films (e.g. City of God) and it seems to me you have amazing buildings in the cities for the rich and for tourists but the rest of the Brazilians seem to be live in squallar and get treated really badly and therefore are forced to lead a life of crime to get by.
I really want to go to Brasilia, it looks incredible. The way the city has been designed really facinates me, but again, in Brasilia there are satellite towns which are basically slums. It seems wierd when you have such an amazing city like Brasilia, so close you have people living in such bad conditions.
All in all, its a beautiful country with amazing scenery and a wealth of wildlife but when you look at the people of Brazil, they seem to be very hard done by when you consider the wealth of the cities like Rio & Brasilia. |

Brazil is definitely a place I'd like to visit for beautiful women, beaches, great soccer players and the Amazon rainforest.
It is the largest country in South America in both population and area and the fifth largest in the world. Exploring vast natural resources and a large labor pool, it is South America's leading economic power and a regional leader. There is also a strong divide in wealth between rich and poor.
