Eu sei que tem uma religião chamada umbamnda e tem várias pessoas que são seguidores do Caboclo 7 Flexas.
Tem gente mascarada que bate tambor.

pick up on Amazon- Rio for Partiers, that is a great guide telling you where to go and what to see, even if you are not a partier- its a great tour guide book (more personable than the Fodors, or Lonely planet)

it tells you everything your best friend would tell you if he were showing you around town, they have a website too

www.Rio for Partiers.com (or something- you'll find it)

great book, (I have a lot, and I like it best)

they do sell them here(in Rio) at some book stores and stuff if you don't have time to get it before you leave.
