I always been intrested and seeing how another countrie cellebrates New Years eve, Is their more fireworks on New Years Eve in Rio (Copacabana) or during Carnival I want to go to whatever event has the most firworks? THe fireworks on New Year Eve in Rio are the biggest one and the most amazing one. The problem is that because of that it is really hard to get a good place to watch it (at this time of the year). It is also really expensive (for us Brazilians, of course) to stay in a good hotel that has the view of the fireworks.
Good luck if you will start to look for a hotel today... :-)
PS: the beach will be really crowed with any kind of person (good and bad) so you must think twice about your idea to stay in the beach. I would suggest to do it with some friend from Brazil (never alone). |
