What is appropriate to wear in a church in brazil?

i'm going to rio in the spring and will be visiting a lot of churches. i'm wondering if there is a strict code about what you can wear in a church because when i was in italy they kicked you out if your shoulders or knees were bare. is it like that in brazil too?

As long as you're dressed, it's fine.
they don't care as long as you show up.

if you give them money, then you can go naked probably

if u are going to visit some catholic church, u don't have to worried about it. cause u can use any cloth, but, nothing hot, u know what i mean? :) i am Brazilian, and i really hope that u can understand my ''english language'', so, if u need some help about brazil, u can ask me, and, definitely, i will help u :) xoxo

if you're gonna visit some catholic churches you don't need to worry about it. It'll be in your spring (u.s.a) or in our spring( i live in brazil!)??? I'm sorry, we don´t refer the seasons to count time....
Our spring is cold at the beginning, ai the end it's hot....
If you say your spring... Well, i think it'll be our autumn, so it means "a kind of hot"... lol... well, we don't have problems with knees, take care to ur tighs n' don't show your sholders n' chest....
Bye

There is no problem with clothes in Rio de Janeiro, You can be dressed in a casual way. Believe or no but there are more rules to go to a night club than to Catholic churches, since you don't dressing bath clothes, the house of God will be open to you.
