"Trem Bão" literally means "Good Train"
But when someone from Minas Gerais State says "trem bão", he/she means that something (and sometimes someone) is very good.

kellescarvalho
In Minas Gerais state this expression is very comum. in general the people form that state or is living there so long calls everything "train", examples: You want eat something but you don´t know what you say you want to eat a "Trem", if falled something in your eyes you say there is a "trem" inside your eyes and of course train (the transport) is "trem".
If you want come to live or visit listen the songs of the singers César Menotti & Fabiano, they are very good to you take the intonation of the people.
