What makes Brasilia more interesting 2 visit then Rio or Sao Paulo? |
It seems 2 me that some of the more attractive Brazilian destinations are the coastal cities, i.e. São Paulo, Ri de Janeiro, Forteleza, etc. U'no, cuz of the beaches & nightlife. I seldom hear about the capital of Brasilia, which is inland. I looked @ Wikipedia; apparently it's some cosmopolitan city. Is Brasilia worth visiting? I'll grant some thumbs-up 4 any answerers who went there & either had a positive or negative experience. |

There are a lot more to see in Brazil besides São Paulo and Rio!
If you enjoy beaches and a lot of sun, you should go to the Northeast for sure!
The South of Brasil has also many places to visit, in Paraná State, there is always the famous "Iguaçu falls" an unforgettable nature splendor! Curitiba (the capital of Parana) has also many beautiful places, and it's known for the good quality of life. However the temperatures in the south are not as warm as in the north!
As for Brazilia, I'm not that sure it's worth an international flight! It's intersting if you like to visit different buildings and sights. But it's a very "spread out" city and the public transportation service is not so good.
There are some informations about the city on this website:

I hope this is helpfull! Enjoy your trip!

Well, it depends on what do you like to see. I have a friend that is an architect so he would love to see the design of the buildings. But I guess is pretty much it, it is country´s capital but not even I had the interest to get there ever. |

If you're in Brasilia is the ideal travel to Caldas Novas and enjoy the hot pools, thermal waters that exist there.
Then over time to visit Sao Paulo largest city in the southern hemisphere!
In Sao Paulo there is a beautiful coastline and you can follow up to Ubatuba or Caraguatatuba and do a great tour.
The Rio de Janeiro has problems with his personal security. |

Try visiting Porto Seguro in Bahia.. It's a lot different from SP and RJ. Very very laid back culture up there |

Brasilia is very interesting for architects and town planners, it is a city that doesn't have corner. The buildings and the palaces were drawn by Oscar Niemayer one of the largest architects of the century XX. He projected columns for government's palace with architectural innovations never views from the time of the Roman empire.
