I don't know about vaccinations, even though there is a mosquito there that if they bite you, you're in bad shape. Just be aware because it is a high crime city.

Hepatitis,Typhoid and Yellow Fever. Maybe rabies if your coming into contact with animals, Tetanus and check for Measles if your born after 1956. Hope this helps.

If you go to Amazonia, Rondonia, Acre, Roraima, Para you should take Yellow Fever vacine.
All other areas are clean.
Brazil have almost same size of USA then, there is a lot of variations. Like NY has Nilo Fever and Bostom has/had somekind of hantavirus hard to find everywhere else in USA.
