I am a south african and there are three things i like about brazil, firstly the soccer I would like south africa to play a rematch mathch against brazil, secondly I like the people of brazil I think they look more or less like south africans since here in south africa we also are of mixed race ancestry, and the black people of brazil look south african that their american cunterparts maybe it's because the slaves who were brought to brazil were from angola which is closer to south africa, to make an example Ze Roberto looks south african the last thing that I like about brazil is the language i know one portuegese line "Te Quero Amar" I am not sure what it means but i am thinking of attending portugesse classes for 2010 i hope to meet many brazilian chicks there and try my luck with the samba ladies.

I've been to Brazil many times (my wife is from Sorocaba in Sao Paulo State). There are lots of things I LOVE about Brasil, but some things I don't like too. Rio was spectacular, I liked Curitiba too & Minas Gerais (though I only went to the South of that State) seems very beautiful. I've always been treated like a member of the family by total strangers (to me - not my wife) in Brasil which makes me feel very at home.

On the negative side though I don't like the Bureaucracy. I don't think it is correct you can go to a shop like Lojas de Americanas, buy something which is $R1,99, give them $R2 & not get the 1 Centavo change.

I don't like that here is not a train service to connect all of the State Capitals in every State, thus making travel a lot cheaper in Brasil (flying is too expensive an option for most people - even gringo's & going by bus can take days)!

I'm going back for 6 weeks in December. I can't wait. It'll be great to spend Christmas there again.

Are you kidding me... My dream is to retire in Brazil. I love your country, culture, way of living and especially the women. Leandro Barbosa( your fellow countrymen) is my favorite basketball player. If I can be any nationality aside from American-Haitian, I would be Brazilian. I always wanted to go visit "Christ the Redeemer" statue, Fortaleza, Rio de Janeiro,Curitiba. I love you country a lot..I was born in Haiti but raised in the United States... My birth country loves brazilians too... Take a look at the link
